DJ Buzz 602

Growing up during the early years of hip-hop, Buzz watched a new movement take form through the DJs, MCs, breakdancers, fashion, street culture, and creativity surrounding the music. He fell in love with it early. What started as a passion for hip-hop eventually became a desire to be part of the culture and help push it forward.

That passion led Buzz into the entertainment business, where he began learning that there was much more to the industry than simply being behind the turntables. Over the years, DJ Buzz has worked as a promoter, DJ, event creator, and entrepreneur — from promoting concerts featuring established artists such as MC Lyte to working with Bay Area talent such as Turf Talk, while continuing to build his name behind the decks at bars, clubs, special events, and live showcases.

But for Buzz, it has never been only about becoming a DJ. The bigger vision has always been about creating opportunities, building platforms, and helping put Arizona into the conversation. Every event promoted, every crowd rocked, every artist supported, and every lesson learned along the way became another piece of that vision.

That journey eventually led to the creation of Buzz On The Streets, an independent music platform designed to give artists another place to be seen and heard. For DJ Buzz, it represents the next chapter of a journey that began as a kid simply falling in love with hip-hop.
